Well, if you like watching by yourself or in a small group, you can catch it on TV on Fox, Fox Sports or Telemundo. That\u2019s fine; we\u2019re not mad at you.<\/p>\n<p>But if you want to enjoy it as it\u2019s meant to be enjoyed, in a wild, celebratory setting, sitting amid the madness of crowds, you need to go where those crowds go.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not saying there&#8217;s going to be an uptick in day drinking from now till Dec. 18, but the best places to go crazy with soccer fans just happen to be bars. Use your discretion wisely.<\/p>\n<p>In Long Beach, <strong>Legends Restaurant and Sports Bar, at 5236 E. Second St.<\/strong> is the first modern sports bar in the nation and still the No. 1 spot in Long Beach for watching athletic competitions. The bar will be showing a host of matches, including those starting at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10000079412\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10000079412\" style=\"width: 1110px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-10000079412\" src=\"https:\/\/img.lbpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/21142402\/Legends-1-1110x833.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1110\" height=\"833\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10000079412\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Legends was already packed for the World Cup on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022. Photo by Mike Guardabascio.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For the remainder of this week Legends will be open for the 8 a.m. matches today between Argentina and Saudi Arabia and Mexico vs. Poland; and, at 11 a.m., defending champs France vs. Australia.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, it\u2019s Belgium vs. Canada at 11 a.m.; Friday, Netherlands vs. Ecuador at 8 a.m. and\u00a0 England vs. USA at 11 a.m.; and Saturday, Argentina vs. Mexico and France vs. Denmark, both at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Some additional matches to be shown are tentative, depending on staffing, according to co-owner Eric Johnson. These include Wednesday\u2019s match between Spain and Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gallagher\u2019s Pub and Grill, 2751 E Broadway<\/strong>, was wild on Monday morning for the USA vs. Wales match, which ended in a sister-kissing 1-1 tie. Owner Ciaran Gallagher said his popular bar would be open early for all the important games: \u201cEvery game with Mexico, the US, Argentina, Brazil, France\u2014we\u2019ll have all the big ones. Then, for the second stage onward, we\u2019ll have the early games as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bars showing all 8 and 11 a.m. matches include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Shannon\u2019s on Pine\u2019s Sports Pub, 209 Pine Ave.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>K.C. Branaghan\u2019s, 5734 E. Second St.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Hawk,\u00a0 468 W.
