\"dogvacay\"This Tuesday, August 26, DogVacay<\/a> and Uber<\/a> are joining forces for National Dog Day by givng Uber riders a chance to help fund “Freedom Rides,” which give shelter animals a better chance of finding a forever home.<\/p>\n

For every Uber ride taken in Los Angeles, Orange County or Central CA on Tuesday, $5 will be donated to START Rescue<\/a>, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters. Help send a pup on one of the many START Rescue\u2019s life-saving \u201cFreedom Rides<\/a>\u201d simply by taking an Uber car ride from the bar to home, on your way to work, to the grocery store or even to the airport.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how you can help. Before you hail a ride on Uber, enter the promo code \u201cDOGVACAY\u201d into the app, which will automatically send a $5 donation to START Rescue. All funds raised will help pay for as many flights to the Pacific Northwest as possible so that more dogs can have a second chance at living a full life with a loving family.<\/p>\n

So go ahead, have an extra drink after work this Tuesday, call an Uber car, and take a ride for the sake of saving a canine\u2019s life (and your own).<\/p>\n
