American celebration known as the Pow Wow for the 44th year in row.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day event, spread over this past weekend, featured multiple tribes: San Carlos Apache, Cheyenne, Din\u00e9, Din\u00e9h, Lakota, Kiowa, Taos Pueblo, and Tongva.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are celebrating 45 years of American Indian Studies, the oldest American Indian Studies program west of the Mississippi, at our 44th annual Pow Wow,\u201d said Craig Stone, director of CSULB\u2019s American Indian Studies Program and faculty advisor to the campus\u2019 American Indian Student Council and Pow Wow Committee. \u201cWe are looking forward to the next 45 years and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The event was presented by CSULB\u2019s American Indian Studies Department, American Indian Student Council, American
