And now that winners have been officially announced via our latest print edition (you can pick up a copy at any of the 500 locations listed here<\/a>), we will be rolling out all 30 winners online–one a day for the next month.

All of Them!<\/h3>\n

We\u2019ll admit that it was pretty silly of us to ask people to choose their favorite librarian when all of them are experts at locating books, conducting research and creating a welcoming environment where both kids and adults can explore textual wonders. Especially when some of them also host adult literacy classes, conduct childrens\u2019 storytimes and organize major events with contemporary authors. In these days of self check-out and accessible-from-home e-books, it\u2019s heartwarming to know that our readers called us out, reminding us we should take the time to appreciate all of those who are involved in Long Beach\u2019s impressive public library system. Or maybe everyone who voted just needs to go to their local library and learn their librarian\u2019s names? We like to think it\u2019s the former.<\/p>\n
