You\u2019ll have to find out at Music Tastes Good this weekend, where five artists are preparing works for the two-day music, food and art festival. From colorful installations to live painting, here\u2019s a little preview of what to expect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year the artists were given the inspiration to deconstruct music, food and ART and how that comes together in a beautiful cacophony of creativity, collaboration and community,\u201d said Nicolassa Galvez, Music Tastes Good art director.<\/p>\n<p><b>Fine Scribbler by Copeland Holt<\/b><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_999920485\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-999920485\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-999920485 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/18619972_10212777400687678_7742981848077193941_n-970x707.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"437\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-999920485\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Painting by Copeland Holt. You can catch him outside behind his easel working on vibrant, painterly skylines of the city\u2019s most notable buildings far away from the confines of a studio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarlier in my career I\u2019d lock myself in my studio and get a little too lost in my own head,\u201d Holt stated. \u201cIt started to become unhealthy. Now I really enjoy painting out in public whether Downtown or near the beach meeting people I\u2019d never meet otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He prefers to paint in public and his participation at MTG will be no exception. You may recognize her work from the previous festivals, which included larger-than-life-size hand sculptures holding up the signs for peace, love and rock n\u2019 roll and a box mural inspired by song lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>Her artwork this year is inspired by an \u201cOrchestra Typhoon\u201d that plays off the festival\u2019s port cities theme. So what happens when \u201ca Music Tastes Good orchestra with a whole lotta color\u201d is hit with a whirling force of nature? Photo courtesy of Music Tastes Good.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Brought together by the art-forward media company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/inspiredlbc\/\">InspiredLBC<\/a>, artists Bodeck Hernandez and Joon the Goon have created an installation inspired by living life to the fullest and Filipino folklore believed to bring good fortune. Both have painted murals for POW! WOW! You may remember their gigantic mixtape from last year, honoring late MTG founder Joshua Fischel. This year, \u201cJosh\u2019s Mixtape\u201d will be back with Vol. 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to create an ode to the late MTG founder Joshua Fischel, with whom I\u2019ve had the pleasure of working on several productions in RIOTstage; to create shade (which is so needed at festivals) and a meet up point for people during the festival; to bridge all the generations through stories of the mixtape and the memories and emotions that songs invoke,\u201d Holden stated.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the artists on Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jococreative\/\">@jococreative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rock Altar by C.
