No, co-founder and Good Foot mainstay Dennis Owens is not second-guessing his long-in-the-making decision<\/a> to close up shop, but he’s choosing to preserve the tradition of a Christmas Night Good Foot. So get out your old boogie shoes — or unwrap your new ones — because beginning at 9pm on December 25, Alex’s Bar will play host to all comers who want to dance the Yule away. <\/p>\n

“I didn’t really have any plans to give that up,” says Owens of the Xmas Good Foot. “I haven’t totally quit the Good Foot, but now it’s just once a year. [\u2026] It’s such an easy proposition — no stress, no hassle. [\u2026] It’s almost like a class or family reunion. I get to see a lot of people I haven’t seen all year. [\u2026] It’s a great excuse to unwind after Christmas.  A lot of people get really stressed out from all the shopping. I think once Christmas is done, everyone wants to unwind. Hopefully people can do that effectively at the Good Foot Christmas.” <\/p>\n
