8:00pm <\/strong>| Nearly 200 business and community leaders shadow local school principals as part of the annual Principal for a Day event, for which community leaders and educators gathered for this past Wednesday. Shaun Lumachi was honored at the event for his past involvement with the Principal for a Day program as chair as well as his deep commitment to the Long Beach educational community. 
                                                                                                                     
The event is the largest single-day involvement of local businesses in Long Beach public schools and offers a behind-the-scenes look at life in California’s third largest school district while creating lasting partnerships in education. <\/p>\n
