Spring Street in East Long Beach will host a fundraiser on Tuesday, September 20 from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm to benefit the 2012 Long Beach Police Department\u2019s (LBPD) Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Team.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Super Mex will donate 20 percent of each guest\u2019s food and beverage tab (you must present the event flyer to the cashier) to the Long Beach Police Foundation (LBPF) &#8211; breakfast, lunch, dinner and take-out included. The event flyer is located on the LBPF website, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lbpolicefoundation.org\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.lbpolicefoundation.org<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The 28th Annual Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay takes place on Saturday, April 14 to Monday, April 16, 2012. This 120-mile relay race spans from Baker, California, to Las Vegas, Nevada, involving over 5,000 sworn and military personnel, and over 20,000 volunteers from throughout the U.S. In 2010, LBPD\u2019s relay team continued a history of staying competitive by finishing third in their category.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super Mex Restaurant located at 6429 E.
