10:45am | <\/strong>Los Angeles artist Ivan Deavy & The Deavy Theater Company<\/em> return to Long Beach to present the latest installment of his art production show. The Deavy Theater Company<\/em> has previously presented four successful productions.<\/p>\n

The Woman in the Mirror<\/em> is described as being a “complete art experience.” Two shows are planned for October 22, 2011 at 6:30PM and 8:30PM at the Queen Mary. Space is limited, so please email deavytheaterco@gmail.com to RSVP.<\/p>\n

According to Deavy, The Woman in the Mirror<\/em> is the story of man named David living in the 1980\u2019s with a multiple personality disorder. To cope with his problems, David creates a world that enables him to freely express his voice in life. The artist uses satire as a vehicle to portray the difficulties many individuals experience with similar problems. This story is about the passion of an individual who finds himself locked inside a world of troubled sexuality, searching for a woman that only lives in his mind. The play showcases 80\u2019s music from Mexico City and is staged in a simple environment to make this show an intimate view of the character\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n
