3:36pm | <\/strong>It won\u2019t be ghosts making sounds on the Queen Mary on September 3rd, 2011 when Shoreline Jam, an outdoor reggae festival, comes to the iconic ocean liner.<\/p>\n

The concert, one of the most popular in Southern California, will play on two stages at the Queen Mary Event Parks. The festival will feature a variety of food and drink vendors on hand and plenty of opportunities to purchase concert apparel and other merchandise.<\/p>\n

Headlined by Pepper, this year\u2019s festival will also include performances by Soja, Iration, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Suburban Legends, Beyond I Sight, West Swell, Syndicated Noise, and Sono Vero.<\/p>\n

Fresh off their stint on this summer\u2019s Vans Warped tour, Pepper is coming \u2018back home\u2019 to captivate the Shoreline Jam audience. The Big Island natives, who now reside in Southern California, bring an electric stage presence often unseen in the world of reggae.<\/p>\n

\u201cPepper certainly knows how to spice things up,\u201d said Eddie Timmons, the Queen Mary\u2019s interim general manager. \u201cThere\u2019s no way a concertgoer can be a passive observer when this band is on stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event is open to all ages with beer, wine and liquor sold to guests of at least 21 years of age with valid identification. General admission tickets for $35 and a VIP experience that includes VIP parking, entrance, and viewing area with catered food and a no-host bar for $75 are on sale<\/a> now.<\/p>\n
