Yes, it’s stop-and-go Grand Prix traffic on Ocean, as busy as a Long Beach street gets, and we’ve got people there texting while driving. Right now. Go look.<\/font><\/span> I don’t mean while sitting still, I’m talking about while they are the moving parts of the flow.<\/font><\/p>\n

Here, it was a button-down man in his cobalt copper “Built Ford Tough” and a fetching lass in a Bug the color of one of those Easter M&Ms. <\/font><\/p>\n

Here’s a question: What does Distracted Driving Awareness Month<\/a> mean vis-\u00e0-vis the Grand Prix<\/a>?<\/font><\/p>\n

I’m sure the Long Beach Police Department can do some spotting of TWDers, too.<\/font><\/span> <\/font>Here’s to the department’s having a successful weekend \u2014 and month, and year \u2014 doing so, and a safe and quiet (i.e., in terms of trouble) Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
