10:45am |<\/strong> Antonio Pedro Ruiz, cofounder of The Creativity Network<\/a>, invited me to speak with him on his Imagine This Radio<\/a> program about my article that was published last Monday, titled ArtX: Myth and Madness<\/a>. The article addresses community-wide concerns about the proposed Art Exchange<\/a> art center, slated to be developed by the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency on the corner of 3rd Street and Long Beach Boulevard.  <\/p>\n

This week’s program features part one of a two part conversation with me, plus conversations with Leslie Markle, Director of Public Art and Design for the Arts Council, and Liz Ryan, Executive Committee Board member of the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park.  He also interviews a CSULB professor about the upcoming AEF Student Animation Festival, members of the Regional Hispanic Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the program closes with a conversation with Long Beach Harbor Commissioner Thomas Fields.<\/p>\n
