OK, in the Long Beach Municipal Cemetery you will find the grave of a prominent man whose name rings a bell if for no other reason than there\u2019s a road and a park in Long Beach with the same name.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re thinking Stearns, think again. If you\u2019re thinking Bixby, think one more time. If you\u2019re thinking Wardlow, congratulations! You can stop guessing.<\/p>\n

Now here comes the hardest part: Take a swig of the mead in the great man\u2019s honor. If you didn’t do it, it’s OK because, let’s face it, mead is kinda nasty, especially when you drink it from a flagon.<\/p>\n

This next part is more essential to your quest: Snap a selfie of you and the headstone \u2014 there’s more than one Wardlow headstone, any of which are fine with us \u2014 and post to Instagram with #lbposttreasurehunt (or you can email it to tim@lbpost.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n
