He&#8217;s also a tireless  advocate for the arts, and the creative community.&nbsp; He&#8217;s in his second  term serving on the board of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artspca.org\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arts Council for Long Beach<\/a>,  co-founded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecreativitynetwork.org\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Creativity Network<\/a>, is active in the Atlantic Connected  Corridor project, and is spearheading the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecreativitynetwork.org\/artpeace.htm\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ArtPEACE<\/a> project in  conjunction with the City&#8217;s Human Dignity office.&nbsp; He also produced a  televised town-hall meeting called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecreativitynetwork.org\/reimaginingthearts.htm\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Re-Imagining The Arts In Long Beach<\/a>,&#8221; and has advanced meaningful dialog through regular salon-style  gatherings and forums.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>  Antonio and I talk often and, when it was revealed that a new bureau of arts and cultural affairs might be formed in the City Manager&#8217;s office, he  invited me to go &#8216;on record&#8217;
