Aside from the regular programming for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carpenterarts.org\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carpenter Performing Arts Center<\/a> and the amazing curatorial prowess of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csulb.edu\/org\/uam\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University Art Museum<\/a>, the students of the University are constantly sharing their performance skills.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cota.csulb.edu\/index.cfm?fuseaction=calendar.home#march\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March<\/a>, for example, there are a number of wonderful student performances.&nbsp; On Monday, March 11th at 8 PM the CSULB Wind Symphony and the CSULB Symphonic Band are performing at the Carpenter Center.&nbsp; The Program includes Kingfishers Catch Fire from John Mackey, the Music department&#8217;s newest Faculty Composer.<\/p>\n<p>The Contemporary Dance Concert, presented several times between the 12th and 15th,&nbsp; features the works of undergraduate choreographers.&nbsp; Eleven pieces will be performed at the Martha Knoebel Theatre. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Running through the 15th is The Saint Plays, a production of Cal Rep, which features CSULB&#8217;s Graduate Theater Performance students working in collaboration with faculty and playwrights.&nbsp;
