The business was allowed to reopen a few days later after a re-inspection found the facility to be clean.<\/p>\n<p>Other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longbeach.gov\/health\/inspections-and-reporting\/inspections\/restaurant-closures\/\">recent restaurant closures<\/a> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Spoon Bistro, located at 649 Long Beach Blvd., was closed July 13 after inspectors found vermin. The business reopened three days later.<\/li>\n<li>Family Fish Market, 1705 E. Artesia Blvd., was closed June 26 after inspectors found vermin. The restaurant was allowed to reopen July 12.<\/li>\n<li>Church&#8217;s Chicken, 2553 Long Beach Blvd., was closed June 26 after inspectors found vermin. The restaurant reopened the next day, on June 27.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Long Beach Health Department <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longbeach.gov\/health\/services\/directory\/food-inspection-process\/\">inspects restaurants<\/a> roughly twice a year, once every nine months for fast-food establishments and once a year for prepackaged food facilities. Inspectors ensure restaurants follow guidelines on a range of issues, including food temperature, employee food handling practices and proper sanitation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The business, located at 209 Pine Ave., was closed July 20.
