Last year\u2019s winner, Katherine and Eddie Kirshner\u2019s Baby Bo of Newport Beach, became a double-decker doggie champ as he once again took the championship \u201cby 10 sausage-links,\u201d according to Orlando Gutierrez, Marketing Director at Los Alamitos.<\/p>\n<p>[easy-image-collage id=71365]<\/p>\n<p><em><small>Baby Bo, a 2 \u00bd-year-old black-and-tan dachshund, easily left his rival racers in the dust to win his second championship. Bo took home a $1,000 cash prize, a trophy and a blanket as well as his second awarded doghouse, which he said he\u2019ll either use as a summer pad or rent out as a bones and breakfast. The winners of the 10 qualifying races included Long Beach local mini-maiden hopeful, 1-year-old Bella \u201cScoopski\u201d Evans. Photo by Bill Mimiaga.<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The big winners, of course, are the cats and dogs at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbacc.org\">Seal Beach Animal Care Center<\/a>. The organization will benefit from the funds raised from ticket and T-shirt sales to the estimated 8,500 people in attendance.
