All were delicious and part of the festival that an estimated 7,000 people attended. The lines for lunch and dinner were so long last weekend that improvements for next year\u2019s event will certainly include more food vendors, according to organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Smoke and fire damage from a <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/news\/two-alarm-fire-damages-george-s-50s-diner-in-bixby-knolls\/\">two-alarm fire in 2016<\/a> has kept the doors of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/georges50sdiner\/\">George\u2019s 50s Diner<\/a><\/strong> in Bixby Knolls closed for the past year and a half. The seven-day series includes tours, panels and tastings those interested in learning more about the city\u2019s current culinary culture and sustainable food movement won\u2019t want to miss these happenings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HiroNori Craft Ramen<\/strong> is now open for business, the Irvine-based company announced via their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BjInDrphK3A\/\">Instagram<\/a> on Thursday. This is the second ramen establishment to open in Bixby Knolls, with Tajima Ramen having opened on Long Beach Boulevard at SteelCraft a little over a year ago. HiroNori notably offers Tonkotsu ramen, as well as vegan ramen.<\/p>\n<p>New Belmont Heights eatery, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LacqueredRestaurant\/\">Lacquered<\/a><\/strong>, may offer \u201cfall-off-the-bone ribs\u201d and \u201cLong Beach\u2019s first legitimate poutine,\u201d reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocweekly.com\/long-beach-newcomer-lacquered-needs-to-rethink-prices-on-its-great-food\/\">Sarah Bennett for OC Weekly<\/a>, but their prices may need to be reconsidered. Located down the block from local favorite Manaow Thai and Loma Liquor, a two-piece chicken combo will set you back $16.25, and you\u2019ll have to shell out $22 for Mama Vu\u2019s pork ribs, sides and all.
