WOW! Long Beach 2018 and &#8220;CARTOMANCY: The Seni Horoscope Re-imagined<em>&#8221; <\/em>showcasing the work of Outer Limits tattoo artist Shay Bredimus<em>,<\/em> the space was named LBMAx when it was announced that Art Exchange merged with the museum&#8217;s foundation in June 2018.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"WiaHWGYmFV\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/art\/bolstered-by-the-support-of-an-institutional-staple-art-exchange-now-lbmax-hopes-to-cement-its-place-as-a-cultural-and-learning-destination\">What a new partnership between LB Museum of Art and the Art Exchange means for Long Beach<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;What a new partnership between LB Museum of Art and the Art Exchange means for Long Beach&#8221; &#8212; the Hi-lo\" src=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/art\/bolstered-by-the-support-of-an-institutional-staple-art-exchange-now-lbmax-hopes-to-cement-its-place-as-a-cultural-and-learning-destination\/embed\/#?secret=vgfvPHGohy#?secret=WiaHWGYmFV\" data-secret=\"WiaHWGYmFV\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The current announcement states the name of the 3,000-square-foot space is called LBMA Downtown. Philanthropist Josephine Molina was thanked for her generosity in supporting the museum and recognizing its &#8220;dedication to serving its community through the arts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>LBMA Downtown will be an extension of the museum&#8217;s main campus at 2300 E.
