{"id":7973,"date":"2019-08-28T11:06:13","date_gmt":"2019-08-28T18:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/?p=30000001763"},"modified":"2019-08-28T11:09:57","modified_gmt":"2019-08-28T18:09:57","slug":"addison-2nd-pch-tenants-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/esd\/hi-lo\/addison-2nd-pch-tenants-2019","title":{"rendered":"Retail complex 2nd + PCH announces more tenants, including food and apparel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With expectations still being met to <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/longbeachize\/urban-design\/massive-11-acre-retail-complex-at-2nd-tenants-have-yet-to-be-announced\/\">open by fall of this year<\/a>, the operators behind the 11-acre retail complex at the southeast corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Second Street have announced a slew of additional tenants.<\/p>\n<p>Along with their growing <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/news\/2nd-pch-retail-development-tenants\/\">list of restaurants<\/a> (including <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/food\/michael-mina-long-beach-restaurant-2nd-pch\">a restaurant overseen by Chef Michael Mina<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/food\/shake-shack-alamitos-bay-2nd-pch\">a Shake Shack<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/news\/business\/addison-urban-outfitters-sephora-2nd-pch\">shops including Urban Outfitters<\/a>, CenterCal Properties will have around 60 tenants when complete. For now officials have confirmed, outside its anchor Whole Foods store and the aforementioned tenants, 15 new tenants.<\/p>\n<h5>For food:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Urban Plates<\/strong>: With a ton of locations\u2014mainly in Orange County but stretching into Los Angeles\u2014this chain has become one of the bigger players in OC&#8217;s fast-casual scene. Think comfort food without too much excess: grass-fed steak, meatloaf, turkey sandwiches&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Noble Bird Rotisserie<\/strong>: Being this will be its inaugural location, there is little information as to what Noble Bird will offer other than rotisserie chicken (and maybe some other birds?) of some kind.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Otosan<\/strong>: Another unique addition to the complex, the only hints that were provided about Otosan are the facts that it will serve sushi &#8220;coupled with traditional cuisine and a breathtaking backdrop.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Italian Homemade Company<\/strong>: The NorCal-based pasta restaurant\u2014it has four locations in the Bay Area\u2014cater to straight-forward, simple, non-fussy pasta dishes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday\u2019s Sweet Shoppe<\/strong>: With <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/food\/belmont-shore-candy-shop-rocket-fizz-closes\">the loss of Rocket Fizz in Belmont Shore<\/a>, perhaps Long Beach could use a candy shop\u2014and Tuesday&#8217;s is a warm welcome. With only one other location in Los Angeles, the space\u00a0 is owned and operated by Michael and Emily Roiff, Emily\u2019s brother Alan and, of course, little 4-year-old Tuesday, the Roiff\u2019s daughter and the store\u2019s namesake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>For apparel:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lululemon<\/strong>: Having managed to build an empire out of selling $130 Wunder Unders, the brand\u2019s moniker for workout tights, along with an array of other pricey workout clothes, Lululemon is a cultural phenomenon of sorts\u2014and this will mark the brand&#8217;s second Long Beach location, following <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/news\/business\/massive-retail-complex-long-beach-exchange-adds-lululemon-susiecakes-to-growing-tenant-roster\">its inaugural local store at the East Long Beach LBX complex<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji'; font-size: 1rem;\">Warby Parker<\/strong>: Founded in 2010 in Philadelphia by Neil Blumenthal, Andrew Hunt, David Gilboa, and Jeffrey Raider, the eyeglass wear company skyrocketed in popularity by offering what they call designer-quality glasses (with prescription lenses) for nearly a quarter of the going price for most designer prescription glasses.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji'; font-size: 1rem;\">gorjana<\/strong>: Founded by Newport Beacher Gorjana Reidel in 2016 following stints at Neiman Marcus, this Orange County-birthed jewelry store has grown to include multiple locations, with this being its first.
