{"id":806,"date":"2018-04-24T14:04:16","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T21:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/?p=64837"},"modified":"2018-04-24T14:04:16","modified_gmt":"2018-04-24T21:04:16","slug":"all-american-boyband-brockhampton-to-headline-agenda-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/esd\/hi-lo\/art\/all-american-boyband-brockhampton-to-headline-agenda-festival","title":{"rendered":"\u201cAll American Boyband\u201d Brockhampton to Headline Agenda Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After trolling fans with a seemingly doctored screenshot of a few \u201ctweets\u201d trumpeting that Kanye West would be visiting Agenda Festival in June, organizers announced the official lineup for the event set to take place June 30 at the Long Beach Convention Center, and Yeezy\u2019s not on the list.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BhxU5gcn0Jw\/<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event, a one-day engagement described as a \u201ccurated mall of pop-up shops dropped in the middle of a music festival,\u201d will feature headliners <a href=\"http:\/\/brckhmptn.com\/\">Brockhampton<\/a>\u00a0(the group\u2019s first ever headlining festival slot), joined by Lil Yachty, Billie Eilish, Fidlar, Yung Lean, Lecrae, Denzel Curry, Na-Kel Smith, Spaghetti Boys and Blondie Beach.<\/p>\n<p>Disappointed Yeezy fans (likely experiencing flashbacks from when <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/life\/arts-culture\/complexcon\/\">West pulled out<\/a> of the inaugural ComplexCon&#8217;s lineup) may still be able to channel their love for the rapper through Brockhampton, an \u201call-American boyband\u201d originally formed in an online Kanye West fan forum, KanyeToThe, about six years ago. Nowadays Brockhampton is still pushing the hip-hop envelope with Long Beach as just one of the group\u2019s stops during their current US tour.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"STAR - BROCKHAMPTON\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PMZZUyos1kI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Panels during the festival will feature speakers from action sports, fashion, retail, art and entertainment, including the cast of Comedy Central&#8217;s Workaholics &amp; Netflix&#8217;s \u201cGame Over, Man!\u201d with more to be announced. Attendees can also listen in on live podcast tapings including \u201cGroup Chat\u201d hosted by Chris &#8220;Drama&#8221; Pfaff and Dee Murthy, with more to be announced, according to Agenda Festival organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Of the more than 500 brand activations, limited-edition product drops and art installations, participating brands and retailers include Champion, Levi\u2019s, Herschel Supply Co., Pendleton, G-Shock, New Balance, The Hundreds, Dickies and more.<\/p>\n<p>Agenda\u2019s summer edition is co-located with the Dew Tour which runs from June 28th through July 1st.
