EggBred, an Orange County-based eatery offering craft breakfast sandwiches, is opening its first Long Beach location Saturday, Nov. 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new breakfast spot sits on the corner of East Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos Avenue, at the base of the Shoreline Gateway apartment building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A grand opening ceremony is set for 7 a.m. Saturday with $10 gift cards for the first 100 customers and buy-one-get-one-half-off for breakfast burritos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EggBred\u2019s menu features various savory breakfast sandwiches served on milk buns that are softer and richer than other breads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The $9.79 Scramble Me Softly comes with scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar and a smoked paprika spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The $13.99 Ben Franklin includes black forest ham, an over-medium egg, and truffle-dressed arugula on an English muffin served with a side of hollandaise sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drinks include cold brew, drip coffee and a variety of juices including orange, apple and blood orange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EggBred has a $13.69 Mixed Berry Cheesecake Waffle for guests with a sweet tooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can also opt to build your own eggs benedict with ribeye, chorizo, bacon, sausage, ham or vegan sausage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The savory options don\u2019t stop at breakfast. EggBred has the Truffle Crunch Burger, the Nashville Hottie chicken sandwich and Ribeye Steak & Egg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We look forward to becoming an integral part of the Long Beach community and providing a welcoming space for friends and families to enjoy quality food and a memorable dining experience,” EggBred CEO Albert Shim said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EggBred launched in La Habra in 2020 and also has a location in Huntington Beach. The franchise has locations planned for Brea, Tustin, Garden Grove and Chino Hills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
