{"id":85696,"date":"2025-05-06T10:15:52","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T17:15:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/?p=85696"},"modified":"2025-05-06T10:22:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T17:22:27","slug":"long-beachs-open-streets-festival-is-saturday-heres-when-where-and-a-list-of-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/esd\/hi-lo\/things-to-do\/long-beachs-open-streets-festival-is-saturday-heres-when-where-and-a-list-of-activities","title":{"rendered":"Long Beach\u2019s open streets festival is Saturday; here\u2019s when, where and a list of activities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The city of Long Beach is set to host its Beach Streets festival this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The yearly event is a celebration of car-free transportation, from bikes to rollerblades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held in the neighborhoods of Westside and Wrigley, officials will block off stretches of roadway for attendees to ride freely and explore the neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n    <a href=\"#XHECJQES\">Link<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s route will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Willow Street from Santa Fe Avenue to Long Beach Boulevard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Southbound Santa Fe Avenue from Willow Street to 20th Street<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Westbound section of Hill Street off Santa Fe Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Along the event route, there will be pop-up entertainment and activity &#8220;hubs&#8221; at Admiral Kidd Park, Hudson Park and on Willow Street between Pacific Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latter will serve as the main hub for the festival. Live music and food vendors, as well as a resource fair, can be found at Admiral Kidd Park. Live music will also be played along the event route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is free and open to the public.
