A Netflix original sequel to the movie \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood\u201d filmed scenes in Long Beach last week, according to a person familiar with the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filming for the movie, \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth,\u201d took place on Aug. 4 along Marina Drive, directly across from Mother\u2019s Beach, according to the person, who was not authorized to talk about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scenes consisted of driving shots and \u201cwalk-and-talks\u201d outside the condominiums along Marina Drive, the person said, adding that filming is likely \u201cwrapped as far as Long Beach goes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filming for the movie also took place in Los Angeles\u2019 Highland Park neighborhood late last month<\/a> and will reportedly continue across LA until late this year<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brad Pitt stars in the movie as Cliff Booth, reprising his role as a 1960s Hollywood stunt double in the 2019 film directed by Quentin Tarantino. Pitt won an Oscar for his portrayal of Booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sequel, which David Fincher directs, is set in the late 1970s, eight years after the events of the original movie. It will focus on Booth\u2019s work as a fixer in the film industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothy Olyphant and Margot Robbie are rumored to reprise their roles<\/a> as Rick Dalton, James Stacy and Sharon Tate, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confirmed cast members include Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, JB Tadena and Corey Fogelmanis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarantino wrote for the sequel and previously expanded on Booth\u2019s character in a 2021 novel released under the same name as the 2019 movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth\u201d will head straight to Netflix when it is released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not the only new production where you might soon catch a glimpse of Long Beach on the screen.
