The midnight fireworks show over the harbor is a Long Beach tradition, and it’s back again this New Year’s Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Queen Mary puts on the show, but you don’t need to be aboard the ship to see it. Just about anywhere on the shoreline with a view of the Queen will also have a view of the fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lion\u2019s Lighthouse and Shoreline Village are always popular spots, but be warned, it can get crowded, and this year, be prepared for soggy weather. A New Year’s storm is expected to arrive as early as Wednesday. But the fireworks will go on \u2014 rain or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few ways to watch the show \u2014 and other ideas if you’re averse to pyrotechnics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Party aboard the Queen Mary (1126 Queens Hwy.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The iconic ship will host a masquerade soir\u00e9e from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with Long Beach\u2019s only fireworks show set for midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General admission tickets start at $180 and include access to various amenities aboard the ship, such as casino games, a burlesque bar, dueling pianos, live bands, photo opportunities, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shoreline Village (429 Shoreline Village Dr.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The downtown shopping village offers a free view of the fireworks show and plenty of dining options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A DJ will play music from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and a self-serve photo booth will be set up near Louisiana Charlies from 9 p.m. to midnight. For more information, visit here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruise the harbor and watch fireworks (multiple locations)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anyone looking to watch midnight fireworks while afloat in Rainbow Harbor has a few options to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spirit Cruises<\/a> has a trip from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. starting at $99.50 per person. The ticket includes an Italian dinner, two free drinks and a complimentary champagne toast. Harbor Breeze<\/a> offers a 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. cruise for $110 per person. Tickets include a glass of champagne, light hors d\u2019oeuvres, a DJ and a cash bar with drinks available for purchase. Anyone looking for a premium cruise experience can check out the yacht party hosted by VIPnightlife.com<\/a>. The lowest ticket (for $189) includes a glass of champagne, access to a buffet on board, a premium open bar and music from a DJ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noon Year’s at 2nd & PCH (6480 Pacific Coast Hwy)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re looking for a family-friendly option, head to 2nd & PCH for a \u201cNoon Year\u2019s Celebration\u201d from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will have Mickey and Minnie Mouse, crafts, face painting, bingo, a dance party, a photo booth and a countdown to \u201cnoon year\u201d with a bubble party when the clock strikes noon. Bar hop in downtown (230 Pine Ave.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For $30, you can get access to nine Downtown bars for this bar crawl to end 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Las Vegas locally at the Gaslamp (6251 E Pacific Coast Hwy.)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The popular East Long Beach bar will host its 10th annual Vegas-themed New Year\u2019s Eve party, complete with casino games, \u201980\u2019s music and a DJ in between bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aquarium of the Pacific (100 Aquarium Way)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For a unique way to welcome 2026, the Aquarium of the Pacific is offering an evening with a full lineup of DJs, live music and even a magician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
