February 22 - February 24
An unprecedented US$15 million exhibit of historic English coins spanning nearly 1,400 years of monarchs will be open to the public. The display will showcase more than 500 superbly preserved examples of gold and silver coins minted in the Thames Valley from King Eadbald in 630 A.D. to a one-of-a-kind 2010 Royal Mint gold coin depicting Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and musician John Lennon.
Many of these coins have never before been publicly displayed in the United States including the only privately owned set of Royal Mint 1937 King Edward VIII coins.
