Contributor Sarahi Apaez uses her skills as a photographer and a videographer to add dimension to Long Beach Post stories. She’s excited to be working with a continually creative group of writers, editors and photographers. Sarahi hopes to produce a documentary about her nearby hometown of Wilmington to counterbalance the underrepresentation of port cities outside Long Beach. Meanwhile, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes roller-skating, the company of her cat, Missy, and her goldfish, whom the cat has named Virtual Sushi.
