Today The Washington Post gave a warm shout out to Long Beach by naming it the city with the most nice days per year in America.

With 210 nice days per year, Long Beach topped Southern California neighbors Los Angeles and San Diego with—and this is no surprise—Anchorage, Alaska, coming in dead last with only 20 nice days per year.

The Post used criteria assuming people prefer days with “moderately warm temperatures, at least partial sunshine, a light breeze, low humidity and no precipitation.”
