The band from Rockford, Illinois that brought you—or your parents— “Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me,” and a few prominent song covers, will take the main stage this April at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, event organizers announced today. Race course construction for the event began last month.

Cheap Trick will still be celebrating their April 8 induction into Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when they perform on Saturday, April 16, at approximately 6:45PM for the standing-room-only “Rock-N-Roar” concert at the Grand Prix. The event is free to Prix ticket holders, according to a release.
