The fifth annual celebration of the Long Beach County Fair will take place during Bixby Knolls’ monthly First Fridays series this April 6.
Held at the Expo Arts Center, the fair will take place from 6:30PM to 9:30PM and will include games, activities, local music, art, food, DJs and extended shopping hours.
Expect faire-style food from Shady Grove, Primal Alchemy Catering, Chaskis Peruvian Seasonings, Gusto Bread, Steelhead Coffee and more right outside the venue.
Live music will be featured throughout the night by a local Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers cover band, MOVE.
Other activities include a kids pie eating contest at Bella Pizza, jump rope tricks with jump L.A. pottery, a demonstration with The Curious Clay Society, weaving demonstrations, quilts, button collections and more.
In a partnership with Long Beach Fresh, organizers are also currently seeking Urban Agriculture-focused entries for a Blue Ribbon locally grown produce competition.
Free parking will be available at the Bixby Business Center on the corner of Atlantic and San Antonio.

Free news isn’t cheap.
We believe that everyone should have access to important local news, for free.
However, it costs money to keep a local news organization like this one—independently owned and operated here in Long Beach, without the backing of any national corporation—alive.
If independent local news is important to you, please consider supporting us with a monthly or one-time contribution. Read more.
