Attention punk, rock, ska and reggae fans, Long Beach’s Law will be playing at Muldoon’s Saloon on Friday, October 13.

Fans should be very familiar with the band’s lead singer, as Jakob Nowell is the son of Bradley Nowell, Sublime’s lead vocalist until his death in 1996.

The show will also feature performances by Devil Season, No Kings and PMA. Guests are welcomed to come in costume as this Friday the 13th performance will also double as a costume party.

Law formed in 2013 and consists of vocalist Jakob Nowell, guitarist Aidan Palacios, drummer Nick Aguilar and bassist Logun Spellacy. They have played multiple shows around Southern California, Arizona and Florida since the band’s inception.

“They’re like a rock band with a lot of reggae roots,” said Patrick Conlon, Muldoon’s owner. “Jakob’s not quite like his father as far the reggae-ska centricity but (they’re) more like a rock-reggae fusion.”

You can also find LAW performing at Danckuts in Laguna Niguel on October 1 and The Holding Company in San Diego on October 21.

According to the band’s Facebook page, they have recorded several tracks for an upcoming album at Rancho De La Luna, the same studio where Eagles of Death Metal, Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys have previously recorded.

The show begins at 8:00PM and is a 21 and older event. Ticket prices are $5 and All Flavor No Grease will be there selling food.

For more information on the band, visit their Facebook page here.

Muldoon’s Saloon is located at 5646 North Paramount Boulevard.
