It wasn’t until 2016 that Snoop Dogg broke his decades-long banishment from performing in Long Beach at the inaugural ComplexCon, a performance described by organizers as a “happy accident” following Kanye West’s cancellation.

ComplexCon Performance Marks a Long-Overdue Homecoming for Snoop Dogg

Clearly the Long Beach native and gangsta rap icon is showing no signs of slowing when it comes to giving his hometown some love, alongside the full lineup: The Isley Brothers, Method Man & Redman, E-40 & Too $hort, Warren G & The Dove Shack, DJ Quik & Suga Free, The Dramatics, The Manhattans, Evidence, The Dogg Pound, Mack 10, Amanda Perez, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes and Midnight Star.

Initially presented by The Observatory for its inaugural event at the Queen Mary, Summertime in the LBC brought 50 Cent, YG, Wu-Tang Clan, Slick Rick and The Dogg Pound to Long Beach’s waterfront in 2017 to an enthusiastic crowd.

Goldenvoice’s announcement comes less than a month after the events promoter released the lineup for its Smokin Grooves Festival, to take place at the Queen Mary in June. This will be Goldenvoice’s fourth event at the Queen Mary since it announced its partnership in 2017 with Urban Commons, lease holder of the historic ship.

Summertime in the LBC tickets go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10:00AM and start at $85 for general admission and $150 for VIP. More information is available via the website here.
