The owners of Healthy Spot Long Beach, which opened just one week shy of a year ago today, are throwing an end-of-summer bash for you and your pet on Saturday, August 29 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.

Located at the Long Beach Market Place, Woofstock Summer Bash will feature live musical performances by Sam Greencart and Miles Cristopher, food provided by Veggie Grill and My Fit Foods, a doggie photo booth, pet-friendly giveaways and a best dog trick competition.

For those looking for a pet pal for the event, Dog Tag: You’re It! will be on site with animals up for adoption.

“Long Beach is very passionate about their pets, and that comes through in all the pet-friendly events, businesses, dog parks and beaches,” said Mark Boonnark, co-owner of Healthy Spot Long Beach. “We want to be a part of this community and offer them an event that they will look forward to year after year.”

He said dogs aren’t simply a pet to keep at home; they’re a part of an everyday lifestyle.

“Ultimately, we want to offer the Long Beach community an event they can enjoy with their dogs by their side,” he concluded.

Healthy Spot Long Beach, one of six organic pet food stores located throughout Southern California, carries locally-sourced pet food and supports local companies, such as Small Batch, a raw food brand that uses local California farms and ranches and several Los-Angeles based product makers, Like Beast + Babe, which handcrafts collars and leashes.

The event is free, but click here to RSVP. For more information about Healthy Spot Long Beach, click here.

Healthy Spot is located at 6433 East Pacific Coast Highway, Unit A-5.
