Maybe they’re a local entrepreneur, creating an innovative product that will impact the world. Or, maybe they’ve dedicated their life to helping those less fortunate and build a stronger community through a nonprofit or coalition of the same.

Maybe this person is all three. That’s who we want you to find, describe and nominate. Because after a three-year hiatus, the Post’s signature event, 40 Under 40, is back, and bigger than ever.

This is a chance to highlight some of the city’s best, with bright futures ahead of them. These are the change-makers and trendsetters, putting Long Beach on the map. Now we all have an opportunity to discover the people making the city tick in a special way.

The nomination period begins August 5 and ends on August 26. Following this nomination period, a panel of judges will narrow down the nominations to select 40 winners.

The ceremony will take place on September 29, 2016 at Hotel Maya, right here in Long Beach.
