On April 3 a Long Beach (710) Freeway cleanup project will be held from about 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., rendering the southern-most section of the freeway closed to traffic, Lt. Michael Beckman said in an e-mail Thursday.
During the cleanup, the Sixth Street, Broadway and Golden Avenue exits from the southbound 710 Freeway will be closed. Additionally, the onramps to the northbound 710 Freeway at Shoreline Drive, Ocean Boulevard, Third Street and Seventh Street will be closed, he said.
Message signs on the freeway will direct motorists driving southbound on the freeway to use the Anaheim East exit for access to downtown Long Beach, he said.
