Given the holiday weekend, certain Long Beach city offices and attractions will be closed in the coming days.

The highlights?

On Thursday and Friday, City Hall will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving, while trash and recyclables will be collected as normal.

No street sweeping or enforcement of street sweeping violations will occur Thursday and Friday, but street sweeping will occur as regularly scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.

Parking meter enforcement won’t occur on Thursday (or Saturday, in the spirit of Small Business Saturday, in downtown, Second Street in Belmont Shore, or The Pike Outlets). The new smart parking meters should indicate the days and hours of operations, as well as when they’re exempt, on their screens. Parking meters, infractions and time limits at curbs will be enforced as usual on Friday, November 27.
