UPDATE: Long Beach Police have located Eleanor Lloyd at 11:10 a.m. Thursday morning.

She had been missing from her care facility since Tuesday afternoon and was found about 4 miles away at Anaheim Street and Cherry Avenue. Paramedics evaluated her and she seemed to be in good health, police said.

She was returned to her facility.

Previous: 9/26/2018 5:09 p.m. | The Long Beach Police Department is looking for a 77-year-old woman who has been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Eleanor Lloyd was last seen leaving her care facility in the 3500 block of Cedar Avenue at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The facility is in the Memorial Heights neighborhood near the 405 Freeway.

She was wearing a purple sweater, black pants, “brown/white” scarf and a white surgical mask. Lloyd is white with gray hair and brown eyes.

 

Police said she suffers from medical conditions and may become disoriented. Local hospitals, law enforcement agencies and public transportation agencies have been notified and police continue to look for her.
