Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Long Beach late Friday night and left one vehicle damaged, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched to Long Beach Boulevard and Spring Street regarding an assault with a deadly weapon on Friday, September 9 at 11:25PM, according to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.

No one was injured but a vehicle sustained damage, she said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
