Possible Gang-Related Shooting Leaves One Injured Friday Afternoon, Police Say

Police are investigating a possible gang-related shooting in Long Beach Friday afternoon that left one man injured, authorities said.

Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1900 block of Pine Avenue at 1:55PM, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Megan Zabel said.

A 21-year-old male victim was discovered by police with a gunshot wound and transported to a local hospital, where he is currently in stable condition, according to Zabel.

There are no suspects in custody at this time. 

The investigation remains ongoing, officials said.
