Story continued below.

Dany Otoniel Jereztrabrana is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 188 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect drives a silver Saturn sedan with black paper plates on which “Riveria” is written in green, tinted windows, and a damaged hood, according to a crime bulletin. He is not currently registered as a student.

University police were notified of the suspect on March 16 when the ex-girlfriend informed officers of an off-campus domestic violence incident with Jereztrabrana that was reported to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). She also warned police that the suspect is known to visit the campus and is aware of her class schedule.

Police assisted the student by providing her with the University Title IX booklet and other resource information.

“The victim is afraid for her safety and is concerned Jereztrabrana may attempt to harm her while on campus,” the bulletin stated.

The victim is currently in the process of seeking a restraining order. There is no restraining order on file as of yet, officials said.

According to the bulletin, the suspect was previously arrested by the university police department for cocaine possession, driving without a license, and the unlawful use of a fake California identification card with his personal information on it.

“If Jeretrabrana is seen on campus, please keep your distance and notify CSULB Police,” the bulletin stated.
