Three Men Still at Large after Allegedly Holding Up Alamitos Beach Liquor Store

The armed robbery of an Alamitos Beach liquor store last week remains under investigation and has left some residents concerned, as the three suspects remain at large.

The incident took place on Wednesday, October 12 at Silvers Liquor store, located on the 1700 block of East Broadway. Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said officers were dispatched to a robbery call at 9:25PM.

Police learned that three men had entered the store, with at least one of them armed with a handgun, threatening the clerk and demanding money. The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

“This is a liquor store I have been going to for years and these people are like family,” said Long Beach resident Kylie Mcnaughton.

Authorities did not provide descriptions of the suspects, who remain at large. No injuries were reported.
