28-year-old Long Beach resident Darnell Clark has been arrested in connection with the 2007 murder of 47-year-old Alfred Hendersen, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

At around 5:30AM on April 22, 2007, Long Beach resident Alfred Hendersen and an unidentified 52-year-old female companion were talking outside a relative’s home near 20th and Lime Avenue in Central Long Beach. It is alleged that Clark attempted to gun both them down; while the female companion survived her gun wounds, Hendersen was announced dead at the scene.

Clark was arrested on February 27 and charges of one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, a gang allegation enhancement, as well as a use of a firearm enhancement were filed on March 3.
