csulbparksideCal State Long Beach police are investigating a sexual assault that may have happened between 2015 and early 2016, after a female student reported the incident on Friday, university officials announced.

The student reported the sexual assault to CSULB police on Friday, September 9. According to officials, the assault happened in the stated time frame at the Parkside Residential College.

“The survivor and the suspect, also a CSULB student, were acquaintances with no prior dating relationship,” officials stated in a bulletin posted online.

The University Police Department is investigating the case.
