A vehicle was damaged during a possible gang-related shooting in Long Beach’s Westside neighborhood early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Caspian Avenue at 12:35AM on Wednesday, January 6, regarding a shots fired call, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Nancy Pratt said.

No gunshot victims or suspects were located, but police did find a vehicle struck by gunfire, she added.

The investigation remains ongoing.
