Long Beach police are investigating a shooting in Long Beach on Sunday night that left one man injured, authorities said.

Officers responded to 14th Street and Temple Avenue in the city’s Eastside section at 7:18PM on Sunday, October 18, in regard to a shots heard call, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

A short time later, a man walked into a local hospital with what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury, Arrona added.

The investigation is ongoing.
