A man was transported to a local hospital Saturday night with a non-life threatening wound after he was shot in West Long Beach, police said.

Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of West Columbia Street around 8:45PM regarding a shooting, said LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.

One man was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

No one has been arrested in the incident, and it is unknown if it was gang-related, Arrona said.
