A man was hospitalized following a possible gang shooting Sunday night in an unknown location, Long Beach police said.

Police were sent to a local hospital at about 9:55PM Sunday, July 31 regarding a shooting victim that was dropped off, according to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.

Arriving officers learned the adult male victim sustained a gunshot wound to his torso.

“The victim was stable, but due to his medical condition, officers were unable to interview him,” Pratt said.

The incident is being investigated as possibly gang-related.
