Police are investigating a shooting at 2 a.m. in West Long Beach on Friday.

Officers responded to a “shots fired” call on the 1900 block of West Willow Street, where they found a man who had been shot in the lower torso, authorities said. The injuries were non-life threatening.

Long Beach paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, police said.

Police said there is so far no suspect information.
