Signal Hill police on Friday released a photo of a person they say has been stealing packages off residents’ porches.

The photo, a grainy frontal shot of a woman in an Atlanta Braves baseball hat, plaid scarf, acid-wash gray sweater, ripped jeans and dark shoes, comes from one victim’s home surveillance camera. Police said they’re hoping more people have video of her.

There is more than one victim, according to Sgt. Kelli Brown, but it wasn’t immediately clear how many have reported the thefts to police.

“We think we know the identity of the person, but we’re seeking more potential victims,” Brown said, adding that the department has not seen more package thefts than usual this time of year.

Police are asking residents to check their own cameras to see if they captured the woman stealing packages on tape and turn it into police, she said.
