The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) are asking the public for any information that could lead them to potential, additional victims of an arrested softball coach accused of contacting a minor for lewd acts.

Suspect Anthony Sota 2-4-1440-year-old Anthony Christopher Sota (aka Tony DeLaSota) of Anaheim was arrested on November 26 of 2013 in Long Beach after LBPD conducted a nearly two-month investigation focused on his behaviors. Police launched the investigation once they were offered a report by a 14-year-old female, a softball player under Sota’s coaching, alleging that Sota sent inappropriate texts with the purpose of eventually meeting to commit the acts described in the texts with the teenager.

Sota, whose affiliation with teenage softball is not associated with any school, posted bail and is currently out of jail while he awaits a court appearance.

Investigators believe that additional victims may possibly exist.
